Nordenham Metall GmbH and Nordenhamer Zinkhütte GmbH are merging under the umbrella of "Glencore Nordenham".  In our application portal  you will find all jobs of Glencore Nordenham and to which company they belong. 

Please apply exclusively online via our application portal. To do so, simply click on the "Apply here!" button in the job posting. 

Our application process is mostly based on the advertised position. If you are more interested, we will contact you and conduct one or two rounds of interviews, sometimes initially as a video interview. For managers, there is also an online test. For unsolicited applications, we ask for a little patience, as we review applications carefully and would like to give suitable candidates the opportunity for a career in our zinc smelter.

Collectively agreed remuneration in accordance with the collective agreements of the metal and electrical industry. Depending on the area of activity, there are various benefits in excess of the collective agreement.

In addition to a company pension plan, there are also various social benefits, such as support payments for the birth of a child, for a wedding or company anniversaries. We also offer a number of options in the area of company health management, such as sports courses with certified trainers, our own volleyball team, smoking cessation, etc.

We are also happy to support employees who are interested and willing to learn with further and continuing professional training.

The working hours depend on the respective departments. We are a fully continuous shift operation in which work is done at all times. In the commercial area, there are different shift models, such as early shift from Monday to Friday or 7-day rhythm in 3-shift operation.

In the administrative area, we have flexitime with fixed core hours.

In the administrative area, mobile working is possible to the greatest possible extent.

Your safety is our first priority! The necessary and prescribed protective work clothing will be provided to you (and cleaned).

There is no official dress code for our administrative staff. You will find everything from casual-chic to a suit for customer appointments.
